I am dedicated to restoring the understanding of the Common Roots of Christianity and Judaism while Renewing ALL with a Personal Walk and a Real Relationship with the God of Israel with all the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Many within the Christian Faith have been missing out of so much Truth and Blessings by missing the Hebraic Roots. And at the same time Yeshua/Jesus has been so misunderstood by many within Judaism as well because Yeshua/Jesus has not been presented within the Hebraic foundation that he stood on. Yeshua/Jesus was/is a Jew. The disciples (students) of Yeshua/Jesus were Jewish. Both the Jewish and non-Jewish first century believers in Yeshua/Jesus kept the Biblical Feast days. I desire to see all to understand the rich Hebraic/Jewish heritage that the God of Israel gave to His people while also bringing them into that Personal Relationship with God. In doing so, I seek to understand and interpret the Bible from a Hebraic perspective and background. All the time being open for the Spirit of God to refresh and renew as He pours out His Spirit to all those willing to surrender their will to His Will and let God do whatever He desires in us today.

As the LORD leads and opens doors, I attempt to do by the following: Hebrew Roots of Christianity Teachings, Jewish & Christian Understandings Teachings, Small Group Bible Studies, Emergency Responder Chaplaincy Programs, “Soaking Prayer Ministry”, while learning to have that Personal Relationship to God and to Walk and be more like the Rabbi Yeshua/Jesus.

Here is a little of my background.

My father, Rev. Floyd Vernon Chandler, Jr., was a Methodist Minister for more than 30 years. So I was raised within that background. My church background includes the Methodist Church where my father served as minister. After marrying in 1983, God guided me to work with a variety of other groups including Baptist, Independent Christian Fellowships with a Vineyard style, Pentecostal and other Messianic and Christian groups. I have a wonderful wife, Deidra and have 3 children. In the late 1980’s I felt God was calling me into the ministry of some sort. I just was not sure what kind it would be. I started preparing the only way I knew how by taking Bible courses. In 1995 I was ordained with The Missionary Church International. I have served as a Pastor in 1996-1998, a Youth Pastor in 1999-2000, a Messianic Fellowship Leader as well as an Emergency Responder Chaplain. In 2000 I also became a Messianic Minister and have joined with and supported various Messianic organizations. In the fall of 2001 I became recognized as a Messianic Rabbi in association with Tel Aviv Messianic Fellowship, a State of Florida Messianic Israel Congregation. Today I am also an Emergency Services Chaplain with Emergency Services Chaplaincy.

I have travel to and spent several days at Toronto Canada, Pensacola Florida and to Lakeland Florida during the different outpourings to catch some of the anointing of what God is doing and give it to others. I have completed Catch the Fire Ministries Soaking In His Presence School. Different ministers, that are anointed, have prayed for me to receive more of God’s anointing for ministry. I have traveled to Israel for better understanding of the Israel, Jewish People and the life and ministry of Yeshua/Jesus. And today I am happy to say that I am more hungry and thirsty for more of the LORD than ever before. I love to pray for others and have the power of God go through me and touch their lives. But most importantly, I love to just soak in God’s presence and love on Him and let Him love on me. This is the place where God does things beyond understanding. This is part of that Personal Relationship with God where one really does walk and talk with God. This is where one can hear God and see miracles happen. This is where we become usable so that God can and will flow through us to minister to others. This with where God desires for all of us to be.

I have worked in the Emergency Services field for over 30 years. As far as education outside of my Fire and EMS training, I have completed an Associate in Science in Criminal Justice in 1983. I completed a General Bible Course Diploma from a Bible Institute in 1990. Then on to complete a Bachelor of Theology in 1991, a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies in 1996, and a Doctorate in Practical Ministry in Chaplaincy in 2001. I also went back to Liberty University received a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies (Cum Laude) with minors in Criminal Justice and Social Science in 2008.

My wife and I have also spent many hours of study with each other and with two Jewish Rabbis from 2002 to 2004 as we traveled along our Spiritual Journey from Christianity and into Judaism to discover and reconnect to our Jewish Roots. We both, deep down, always have had a love and desire to connect with the Jewish People. We also discovered that we both have possible Jewish blood line ties within our families. With all of this we felt God was calling us to travel the road of study and conversion into Judaism. We walked the journey as Ruth walked. We became "officially" Jewish as Ruth did in following the God of Israel.

So I have been on both side of the fence. Not only have I been on both side of the fence, I have been in different groups on each side of the fence. It seems that both are really seeking for "Truth". Each bases their version of truth on their "Scriptures" yet each has a different understanding of their "Scriptures". Even when they may be looking at the same writings, each sees it with a different meaning. Both have allowed the traditions and customs of men to interfere with the pure Word of God. Because of our journey, I can see some of the misunderstandings of both Religions. Then if we will only be open to what God is doing, then maybe we can finally see and understand the Common Hebraic Roots that we do share together.

I know that God is calling the Church back to a better understanding of the Hebraic Roots of the faith. But I also now know that this does not mean taking the road we traveled. All one needs to do would be to follow the Religion of the Messiah and Rabbi Yeshua/Jesus. Follow and focus on Rabbi Yeshua/Jesus. He lived full of the Spirit of God. He spent time in the presence of the Heavenly Father. He had a Personal Intimate Relationship with God. As we do this, may we also allow God to bring us all together as the One New Man that God desires of us with the Power of His Holy Spirit working in and through us.

Once within modern Judaism of today, we also found that many, if not most, are going through the rituals of Judaism, just like many within Christianity are going through the rituals of Christianity, and missing the Personal Intimate Relationship with the God of Israel. We also saw that the Jesus that the Christian Church has presented, for the most part, is not the real Jewish Yeshua/Jesus of the Bible. This learning experience, even though an important step of what God was teaching us, also brought us into a time of the wilderness. The time in the wilderness was a time away from seeing much of the power and presence of God. It was a time where we had to re-look and re-consider our “theology”. It was a lonely place where rituals and religion started to replace real relationship. This wilderness experience has caused a deeper thirst for more of God and for the Real Thing. I believe that God is calling His People back to the walk of the original disciples, back to the Religion of Yeshua/Jesus. This is where the Spirit of God is moving with power as with Yeshua/Jesus and His first disciples. We have to find that special place that is neither the Religion of Christianity nor the Religion of Judaism and find the True Religion of Yeshua/Jesus which is a Personal Intimate Relationship and Walk with God the Father by the Power of His Holy Spirit. We need to be in a place where we can hear God clearly and have a Real Personal Powerful Relationship with God.

So I say, we have been on both sides of the fence. I stand with and support all of the Children of Israel. Some people are in Christianity, Judaism and those somewhere between the two searching for a Real Relationship with God. We need to repent of trying to do things our own way. We need to repent of being religious and going through the rituals without having a Real Personal Relationship with God. We need to get to know the Real Yeahus/Jesus. We need to completely surrender our wills to God’s Will. We need to spend time along with God just like Yeshua/Jesus did. We need to Soak in His Presence. We need to admit and forgive each other for the past mistakes and misunderstandings within both of our Faiths and then re-look at and return to not only our Common Hebraic Roots but to the Religion of Yeshua/Jesus. We need to have that Personal Intimate Relationship and Walk with God. We need to be filled with the Spirit of God. We have to walk as Yeshua/Jesus did. We must be at one with the Father just like the Messiah and the Rabbi Yeshua/Jesus.
