A year later in Simple Church
Well we have been meeting in homes and other places for a year now as of this weekend, and I must say I'm still feeling like this is what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm still connected with our former church for a few things here and there, mostly going to the local mission and women's events etc.
There are some things I miss about the IC, but overall the simple church thing fits. The hardest part for me is that my sons (17 and 16) don't like the simple church, they still visit a few local churches for youth group and events. I'm okay with that, but I sometimes wish they would hang out with my husband and me. I am thankful though that they are finding their place in the kingdom.
Right now my prayer for the summer is to connect with some other women who want to meet for a bible study, I've had the hardest time finding that since we have been in TX (3 years). -Carole
